<p>According to a local East coast magazine which gave numbers of applicants and acceptances, only one student from my son’s top 100 public high school was accepted to UCLA. Not everyone got into USC. I agree that being from the midwest will be a plus for USC, but the rest of the application also has to be excellent.</p>
