Chance Me: Questbridge NCM (Stanford, Princeton, and MORE!) [FL resident, 3.8 GPA, top 12%; international relations, public affairs, political science]

I see what you are saying. I want to thank you and everyone again in this thread who’s opened my eyes to this process.

Not quite sure about admissions success lol. I feel like stressful is more appropriate that exciting lol!

Check out Denison and its Lugar program, too.

I would rank Tufts pretty high.

You would need a few colleges that will not be as hostile as FL- “colleges that change lives” may be a good website to check out, though you’ll need to look at how hospitable the college&state are.

U of Denver could be worth a look. I think it would be a safety for acceptance, but maybe more of a match in terms of getting the aid you need. (They meet 83% of need on average, and also give merit, so I’d say there’s a good chance they’d end up meeting your need, but not guaranteed.) In addition to the Korbel School, they have the selective Pioneer Leadership cohort program, with its own housing, that might appeal to you. Denver is a great LGBT-friendly city.
