You have a great GPA and rigor of courses.
Volunteer over this summer to get some hours. 36 is not too many. I know hospitals, etc require applications and training classes that may end up taking a whole month to finally start volunteering. Find a library, etc that allows you to start right away? A church even? In addition, your test score is just holding you back from being straight matches to these schools. Since you’re Hispanic, you do have an edge at that. You’re also instate for UIUC so that’s also a plus. </p>
