anyone wanna make any more chances?

Anyone want to chance me please? Your stats look great, try to narrow down your focus though into what you want to do. Although some great college i.e. Stanford preferred a well rounded student, they don’t want a bunch of those because they want a diverse student body, meaning they’d like some more polarizing, unique and identifiable people rather than just. You’ve def locked up the stats department, now its time to figure out your intangibles and personality etc… That said, you should apply everywhere that you feel would best suit your person and your interests e.g. if you like bio research, consider and look up the facilities at JHU. Of course, as others have said, you don’t really need to limit yourself since you have a chance at any University. That’s just my humble opinion from what I’ve read of course though. Also, can you chance me?

Really bro, you gotta chill with those AP tests

to be completely honest, i don’t think your profile is extraordinarily strong. ap tests, as mentioned before, aren’t actually a big deal. there are only 5 scores, for heaven’s sake, and to get a 5 on most tests you only have to score, what, around 70%. that’s a C- in most contexts. churning out a gazillion ap tests only shows that you were trying to please admissions officers by testing yourself to death (do you even truly care about half those subjects?), whereas an actual dedicated EC (try pushing your research to competition/publication level) would show that you legitimately are interested in studying some field, not just racking up a title. of course, you’ll still have a great shot at many great schools, but i don’t think this gives you a significantly higher chance at all for the “most prestigious” schools. i’m not going to name schools - it all really depends where your passions are. a certain brilliant department at one ivy can be nondescript at another one.

How could you take so many AP tests?
How could you have time to study for all of them?
and also sports? kiddin me?
I recommend sending yout apps to all the ivy leagues.
I you can afford it, then go to harvard.

@thecube -What do you suggest I do from now until application then? Advice?

hehe, sorry just reread my post and i didn’t mean to sound so damning. i’m just saying don’t put too much trust in the aps. anyway, if you’re a rising senior there’s not really time to do anything drastic - but if it’s really your passion i might try polishing up the bme research, maybe try submitting to sts or s-w and see what happens

I’ll try to work on my research for this fall then. Anything else?
