Chance me!

Not quite sure if there’s one for freshman admission, as I could never find one, but the stats here will be a help in showing you the selectivity of each program at each UC.

As for the Cal States, some of these dashboards exist too, but they’re a bit harder to find and it depends on what.

I was able to find this for CPP, and it’s a couple years back, but it may be of help to show admit rates. As you can see, your decision of econ vs CS will change your chances immensely. Econ is a fairly easy department to get into at CPP but the CS program would be difficult.

I don’t really have the time to get all the numbers for the other schools, but I can tell you that SJ econ isn’t very difficult, while CS will be hard. Same goes for UCSC. UCR is easier on both fronts but CS is still significantly harder.

Tbh, for all of these schools, CS is going to be significantly harder to get into than econ. Econ starts becoming more heavily impacted at the top schools known for strong econ/business departments.

I would advise that while CS is not as big of a deal since they’re all hard to get into anyways and you’re going to obviously pick the best school, when you do a biz/econ degree, the alma mater and your connections matter much more than if you were a typical stem major.
