Thanks!

You have a good chance at Middlebury. Sending you a private message. Look for the green envelope in the upper right hand corner.

From what you’ve shared, you’d be a competitive candidate for Middlebury. Do you have any experience with Russian?

Edit: Middlebury is need-blind so the info about being need-aware doesn’t apply and has been deleted.

Middlebury is a need-blind school for US applicants.

Thanks for letting me know. I will update my post, if I can.

I certainly think Middlebury is worth a shot.

If you are interested in additional options that might be somewhat easier admits, I would also check out Vassar (particularly if you are male), Dickinson, and St Olaf, all of which I understand to have very strong Russian programs.

Title changed by moderator to reflect that this is a parent doing a chance me for their child.

Excellent suggestions. I’d add Kenyon, Macalester and Oberlin to the list.

Seconding the suggestions above for easier admits and will also add U. of the South. The natural beauty of its location in Tennessee might be appealing to someone who’s interested in Middlebury. Also might want to check out College of the Holy Cross, Union, or Lawrence.
