I wonder if admissions will perceive you more as an Arizonan, and if that would help you. Depending on how long you lived in AZ, maybe your growing up experiences there will help you add some diversity to the class. Trying to shed a tiny ray of hope, from a mom who is also an engineer/physics type.</p>
