<p>Michigan puts more weight on grades rather than test scores. For internationals, they’d consider more on how you performed at public exams like IB and GCSE.</p>
<p>Since your school follows the British curriculum, I presume you sat for GCSE or O-Level prior to IB Diploma. If you did very well on GCSE, it would help your chances.</p>
<p>It’s much easier to get into Purdue than Michigan. I believe you have a good shot getting into engineering with your strong math and science scores.</p>
<p>The application is quite simple (no essay) and usually you can get a decision in 4-6 weeks.</p>
