<p>If one takes 6 IB exams such as myself, and I score 6’s on all of them, thats 36 points out of the 42 possible. A 6 on any IB exam is excellent. By no means is a 36/42 average. I would say a 36/42 is superior. 37+ would be elite.</p>

<p>You cant convert IB exam scores to GPA dude. Getting a 6 on IB HL math is WAY harder than scoring a perfect on for example AP Calc. The problem with US is that not alot of colleges understand the IB program. Only like 480 diploma programs in the country. </p>

<p>Michigan gives credit for HL’s only, like most schools do, but they take scores of 5 or even 4 or higher on IB HL. Thus if one takes 4 HLs a score of 20/28 is sufficient. get ur facts right goblue.</p>
