Chances? . . . . At All? Any?

I don’t know anyone very well, but the daughter of one of my friends is a sophomore there and another friend’s daughter got in, but decided to go to a state university because of cost. Brandeis is my son’s first choice and we will probably get in touch with the sophomore we know. She is in an upcoming theater production that we will see and we may try to meet with her after the show. I really can’t give you any advice about the various academic programs as I don’t know much. However, if money is a big factor, I don’t think you should be in a hurry to apply to any of these schools early decision. It doesn’t sound like you have enough information to choose a clear favorite, and you would be obligated to attend if you got in, and the money might be better elsewhere. At a minimum, you should go to each of these schools’ websites and check the net price calculator to get an idea of what it will cost you. Good luck!
