<p>Ummm… I’ll take a shot at answering it but I really suggest you call your local CMC admission officer and ask them. Say it’s your number one choice and you wanted to know which is smarter to do. They’ll talk with you about it. </p>
<p>For the 2006-2007 year (now very outdated) CMC reported to college board an acceptance rate of 22% for regular admission and 29.9% for ED. So it appears that they do like students who apply ED. But recently, it has become much more competitive to get in to CMC (and all colleges). So I don’t know if this would hold up to the same extent. Applying ED, as you know, is a strong statement saying that you would go no matter where else you got in. With your stats (icemancometh) I would think seriously about applying ED. I think it would improve your chances. But again, find out who your local rep is and talk with them. They’ll have stats and stuff like that. Sorry I couldn’t be more definitive.</p>
