Chances at Getting In?

The Junior Honors Medical Program?

http://jhmp.med.ufl.edu/

“Application to the JHMP occurs early in the spring semester of the student’s second year of college enrollment.”

Much of your application will be based on how well you’re doing at UF, not so much high school.

Check out the Average Net price at UF, by income:

Then run the UF Net Price Calculator (in the above link). It will give you some idea of cost. If cost is an issue, you should also apply to USF and UCF as safeties. Both schools have accelerated medical programs (both have med schools), honor colleges, and would offer you substantial merit. They are both on rolling admissions, so you could get an acceptance (and merit) in October, which makes waiting for UF’s announcement in February a bit less stressful!

Good Luck!
