<p>I remember looking up the rankings in economics programs a while ago, and Princeton, I think, was either tied for 1st or 2nd. But you’re right; according to the 2005 USNews rankings, Chicago is tied first with MIT, followed by Harvard, Princeton, Stanford, and Berkeley for 3rd. Although this is just for graduate school; I don’t know about undergrad.</p>
