Show yourself as a person in your application and in the essays. Remember that Chicago will evaluate you not just as a number, but as a person. They don’t care too much about SAT scores, only to verify your dedication to school and learning(if even that–but I digress). I can’t really offer you any advice about what to do since it is already so late in your high school career. You schould try and get all A’s, but I know how hard that is. You should try and write stellar essays, but that is just as hard. You have to show your dedication to your extracurriculars. Those define you as a person more so than your grades and stats, everyone will have good grades and SATs. Talk about your volunteer work, robotics, music, it all shows that you are good at things outside of school. Just don’t stress too much.
