If you select Native American on the application, you have a solid chance (~40%).

If you choose to omit that section, you have effectively no chance (<1%); your GPA and your ACT especially are subpar for Brown.

Noo I def. didn’t omit that section hahaha

Thanks silver.

Bump!!!

You have an almost 100% chance of being accepted to any school in the country, including Brown.

Please do not listen to some of the people who previously chanced you in this thread…

Wow. I hope and wish that is true. What is your reasoning giggles?

???

I am studying and taking the dec. act so i’ll send that in if i get deferred too. Should DEF be 31+, probably a 32. I’ve been doing well on it lately

I don’t mean to be rude, but considering the amount of posts you have nate (indicating having been on CC for a while), it’s somewhat hard to believe you aren’t being facetious in this chances post.

Native Americans are given a very, very large boost in college admissions, and considering your adequate academic credentials and impressive EC resume, it is highly doubtful that any US school will reject you.

no i understand giggles…but yeah i have been here a while- but my older brother used the account i created way back in the day so some of the posts are from him. and i really don’t mean to sound facetious at all, i just worry too much.

But thanks a lot, i do appreciate it

I am a gay Native American/Hispanic in a small town in North Carolina that has no stop lights. How big of an edge is that? lol

I’m sending in a part of my manuscript that was considered for publication as a supplementary item.

you’re def in. if not for the URM, it would prob be reach. but with that in mind, on top of the stellar ECs and good gpa and fair act score, its basically a lock.

you gotta think that most of these schools, with basically no more than 1% native american, are dying for at least moderately smart native americans. you definitely fit the bill (and beyond, for that matter)

Thank you! I hope you were talking to me haha but I’m sure the other person has good chances as well.
