In my opinion: you’re in.

You’re GPA /is/ low for a Smith admit - 3.8 weighted is the average GPA for all incoming MD students, and since Smith is an LEP (limited enrollment program) and one of the toughest LEPs to get into at MD to boot, the avg. GPA for accepted Smith students would be higher than your own.

HOWEVER - your math SAT score is fantastic, as our your math SAT II scores. Additionally, you have very strong ECs, including FBLA for several years and stock market club for 1. I also don’t think it’s a small feat that you’ve held down jobs throughout high school for quite some time, as well as played sports/remained physically active.

Everything said, though you may be “average” for a MD student overall, you’re strengths are very focused towards a passion for business and if you wrote/will write your essays well, I see you having a very decent shot.

UMich is harder in general to get into than MD, but if you compare getting into Smith vs. Getting into UMich general admit, idk which is harder, they are probably fairly equal…in any case I think you have a really good chance for Smith sooo…take a deep breath, relax, make your application flawless!
