Chances for International student: UC Berkely, UCLA, UC San Diego, UC Irvine, NYU, Emory and more

I’m not sure how your high school calculates GPA, but I am assuming that those 5, 6, 7 numbers reflect your grades in your classes. Your school’s GPA is out of 7 points, so you had to convert your GPA so that it is out of 4 points. You have not taken all your exams yet, so those numbers cannot possibly represent your scores on the exams. Perhaps these numbers are predictions of what you will receive on the exam. You think you will receive a 7 on the Math HL and English HL exams but there is still a possibility that you will not.

I do not know about international students, but I do not think UCs care much about IB exam scores. Those exam scores are only for college credits and do not significantly increase your chances of admissions. HL math is not very impressive in my opinion. I took it, but most of the UCs rejected/waitlisted me. I know students with a 7 on IB Further Maths (several times harder than HL Math), but I do not think it helped improve their chances much for the schools that they applied to.
