<p>Add Rice to your list. It’s cheaper than most top 20 schools and has very good merit packages.</p>
<p>You’re a very strong candidate for all the above schools. You should want to find out about the very generous scholarship programs each of these schools offer.</p>
<p>As you seem to have some interest in public universities, I would recommend that you also look into UNC-Chapel Hill. The school offers a number of merit based scholarships, many of which are a “full ride” for out of state recipients. </p>
<p>I would strongly recommend that you try to finish the requirements for the Eagle Award before submitting your applications. I hope you enjoyed Philmont. It is one of my favorite places.</p>
