<p>Well, here’s the thing:</p>
<p>In order to do finance and journalism, you have to apply to Stern. Stern is the hardest school at NYU to get into in terms of scores; most Sternies have a 2000+ SAT and a 30+ ACT. While your GPA is great, your test scores aren’t high enough. And unfortunately, because the colleges have no other way of measuring how much you know, standardized tests take precedence. Right now, you would be almost certainly rejected.</p>
<p>If you’re a URM, you might be able to slide by with a ~2000 SAT, but if not, a 2150+ is a solid score for Stern and should pretty much guarantee you entrance.</p>
