<p>Friend’s D did not get into UNC-CH with a profile like yours and higher ACT scores. It’s not an easy go, and the test scores figure heavily in UNC-CH’s decision. As a state school, unless you are a recruited athlete or are in some category where they are seeking more students, it is going to be a tough entry. The same with your other choices. You do need to find schools where your test score is in the upper 25% if you are looking for good financial aid, in my opinion. Also for a good match.</p>
