Hi @HuskiesFan5818 I remember you from the UMTC threads last year! Where did you end up and why the change, given that you’ve only been there a couple months (at most)?
Tranferring in to CSE much harder than direct admit, from what I’ve heard. Not sure if they are going to look at your ACT or EC’s from high school. For transfers the main thing would be college GPA from all your college coursework and, of course, those college courses. For the GPA, not sure how they count college coursework done as a dual-enrollment situation and that coursework also counted toward your first-time-freshman status. You’ll need to check with UMN on that. For coursework, keep in mind that some credits may not transfer and you might find that you need to spend more time to graduation than you anticipated.
There might also be a certain number of credits you must earn as a freshman student in order to be considered a transfer. Guessing that if you finish the year at your current institution you will meet that threshold. (Edit: This is assuming, of course, that your credits from dual-enrollment don’t already count).
