<p>^I was kinda lucky. I was reading through a forum and I saw a post that talked about someone from my state just getting off a small waitlist. I knew someone from the same state just got off the waitlist (via facebook). I then looked at the username of this poster, and recognized that it was similar to a nickname of one of my friends. I then saw the college/location of this person, and it correlated. So, no digging up needed.</p>
<p>The person who found me found out I was posting here (although he didn’t know where) and then, being overly curious, found one of my posts where I listed all the schools I was accepted at. These schools correlated to mine perfectly, and then he basically proved I was the guy by looking at past posts. </p>
<p>I have a feeling I could find out the OP’s identity in ten minutes. Sad? Yes. But pretty cool.</p>
