<p>Thanks MaineLonghorn. It turns out that for us (OOS from CA), in the absence
of any scholarships, UT tuition would be about midway between instate UC
and Ivy’s. Another couple months will tell how the decision shakes out. Clearly
the in-state waiver (if granted) changes the equation to where UT/UC would
be comparable.</p>
<p>Has anyone been to the various honor meetings UT holds in March or thereabouts ?
The CS department is having one in early March, and I was wondering what gets
covered, and what people’s opinions were, since it is non-trivial to visit from
where we are.</p>
