@katrina1 the first article you linked to is current but the link in post #3 on this tread is from last year (December 2017). The first article also mentions that the regents are considering a $1000 per semester ($2000 annual) surcharge on all students in CSE and also for science/math majors outside of CSE. The current proposal is that this gets instituted for students that start in Fall 2019 and forward (no current students would pay). They vote on that proposal in February. That’s a pretty significant increase.
