If it’s the Kelley Degree you want, apply to IUPUI you might be direct admit. There is healthy debate whether it matters if you go to Bloomington or Indianapolis, and I see both sides. But the Dean considers them the same school. One of the rankings looks just at Bloomington and gets great reviews. But the other rankings incorporate the curriculum, infrastructure and placement at both, and the school is inarguably a top 20 school. Placement is more Midwest in Indianapolis and more Global at Bloomington.
The big difference is the feel. Indianapolis is a urban setting while Bloomington is residential and fairly rural but beautiful. Indianapolis serves more local students too, but the available dorms and surrounding apartments are hot properties. And the campus life is vibrant and accessible.
My son chose Indianapolis and is having the time of his life. Saw 8 big time concerts for free last weekend during the basketball tournament. Colts, Pacers, Indians, Indy eleven, Jaguars etc. All in walking distance.
Do your own research, we did.
Food for thought.
