Chances of getting in to CSULB or SDSU?

@Harmbreezy

I know a girl with less than stellar test scores that got in with a 3.6.

I also took AVID for frosh, junior, and senior year! And I’m outside the local area.

CSU’s do not look at personal statements or volunteer hours, only UC’s do that.

I always had A’s and B’s in math and english. And 1 “C” in Geometry.

But with my SAT’s I did better on reading than math. I scored in the mid 400’s for my math and had a 550 for reading.

And you will also have to take the ELM/EPT, these are placement test, but you can be exempt from these test. To see how to get exempt you can click this link here: [EPT and ELM Exemptions | Student Academic Support | CSU](http://www.calstate.edu/sas/ept-elm-exemptions.shtml)

So I strongly advise you to do what ever you can to be exempt from these test, because if you fail the test you will have to take remedial classes, which you will have to pay for, and they don’t count for college credit.

But remember SDSU is not easy to get into, so if this is your dream school you should have plenty of back ups. Even with my stats I got wait listed from UCR -_-
