<p>CSU’s and UC’s alike do not request letter of recommendations. And yes, CSU’s just looks at GPA, rigor of class schedule and test scores. But what’s great about CSU’s is that if you took your SAT’s twice and you scored higher on math the second time then they will use your highest score to determine your admissions. And the same goes for reading and so forth.</p>
<p>And I just got accepted to CSULB today! But I was rejected at first but I qualified for their BEACH Pathway Program admission application. In BEACH PP, you have to write three essays, and I wrote very good essays.</p>
<p>So if you ever happen to get rejected to CSULB, but they offered you the BEACH PP, then feel free to ask me any questions regarding the essay questions. But let’s hope that you get accepted in one try :).</p>
