<p>a lot of jumping to conclusions here without facts. It will be interesting to see the “yield” and average stats. You see, those making up the ~10-15% drop in applications might not be in the “seriously considering PSU category”. These may be the people in the “just added PSU to the list” category. There is always a certain fraction of applicants in this category and the yield on these people tend to be low. This is the category of applicant that is more volatile (swings up and down based on the economy, demographics etc)</p>
<p>PS. keep in mind people posting on sites like these are concerned they might not get in. So the success stories of people with credentials in the lower 25% are brought into light.</p>
