Uf uses a weighted GPA; +0.5 for honor classes, +1.0 for AP/DE/IB/AICE classes. Getting your SAT up to 1950 would help a bunch, but your GPA still makes UF a reach.

FSU is a bit less selective that UF. The academic profile of the middle 50% of freshmen accepted in 2013 was: 3.9-4.7 weighted GPA; 26-30 ACT composite; 1730-1960 SAT total. FSU also accepts a bit more OOS students, vs UF.

FSU’s engineering department is ran as a partnership with FAMU. The College’s slogan is, “Two Universities, One College, Twice the Opportunities.” Attending FAMU would gain you the same access to the college, as an FSU student.
