chances of transfering below a 3.0 gpa

Statfinder= worthless. Trust me I went through the acceptance cycle last year and here I am again because obviously I didnt get in.

UCSD does not do a comprehensive review…they look at your gpa and units and thats it. Last year if you had over 60 units and over a 3.3 you got in…and unless you had TAG you got denied if you fell short (even a 3.29999). It MIGHT have been a 3.2, as I dont remember completely but if you dont have TAG you wont get in with anything less than ATLEAST a 3.2, probably a 3.3. How do I know? spoke with multiple people at UCSD. Major DOES NOT matter and they refuse letters of recc or anything. GPA and units is all.

My gpa is right around a 3.2 this year, and I fully expect that if my TAG falls through I will not get into UCSD and will have to look at UCI (since there shouldnt be any problems with TAG at UCI)

I dont mean to be mean I just dont want people getting their hopes up like I did. Its a numbers game at UCSD they are too lazy to look any deeper than gpa/units.
