<p>I wouldn’t say my essays are astounding or the best things I’ve ever written, but they are pretty good. I realize that my GPA will hurt me, but I quickly brought my grades up, so that should help me at least a little, right? </p>
<p>Also, I forgot to add an achievement: my class won our statewide “We the People” competition and we will be competing in Washington DC for the nationals in April. I submitted my app before I got this achievement, but is it worth telling them? My math/sci bowl team also has a very strong chance of winning the state competition next month, and if we win we get to go to Washington DC for that as well. Do you think either of those are important enough to sway the decision?</p>
