<p>I’m an incoming freshman and if admissions granted decisions based only on stats you would be a clear admit. That said there are many things that factor into an application such as essays and recs. So if you can find a way to differentiate yourself with your essays and recs this should be a sure thing. </p>
<p>I’d recommend that you begin writing these essays and compose at least 2 to 3 drafts having multiple people edit them. One thing you must understand is that the U of C wants unique and even eccentric students so my advice would be to show range in your essays and go from something safe to something that is riskier and really expresses who you are. Also try to apply EA if possible because it makes life rather easy.</p>
