I apologize for posting this again. Some of my ECs changed and my ACT score changed, so I wanted to see how you guys thought that affected my chances.

Vballgurl: In regards to the ECs, I have always heard that it’s best to stick to a particular area and invest your time there rather than diversifying. I’ve spent a lot if time looking at chance threads and other sites and IMO you’re a strong applicant anywhere and have a good shot at getting admitted anywhere bar HYPS.

I think CMC cares less about test scores and grades, instead focusing on your leadership potential. If you can, an interview gives you the opportunity to show admissions who you are as a person and how you would fit into CMC.

Something interesting I heard from my interviewer is that they are keen to students who demonstrate interest in CMC ie: emails, campus tours, interviews.

Carotid: I found the interview to be a mix between evaluative and informational. We spent 30 or so minutes discussing me and 30 or so minutes discussing my questions. The whole time she was writing stuff down on a clip board, so I’m sure in some way it affects admissions.
