<p>I spoke to a UCSB admissions officer about this last year, and she said that the TAG GPA had to be achieved by the end of the Fall term. Why would she lie to me? Plus, it says it right there on their contract.</p>

<p>That’s their TAG agreement for 2012. Read the part where the agreement states the following:</p>
<p>The following GPA requirements apply for the College of Letters and Science TAG. Applicants must:
• Earn an overall minimum 3.20 GPA in all UC transferable course work by the end of fall 2011;</p>
<p>“End of fall 2011” is even underlined for emphasis. </p>
<p>Please stop spreading misinformation, guys. </p>
<p>Also, OP, if you have any other questions - read the TAG agreement carefully and call admissions.</p>
