<p>I can’t speak with too much education about undergrad acceptance, but I am a grad student at Pepperdine’s business school. What I can tell you from my experience is that it’s not simply about academics. I know a few people who had amazing entrance exams and high undergrad GPAs, but were denied grad school admission. One of said peeps actually ended up going to Harvard business. So, that being said, it’s a lot about the total person concept. From my experience–grad school–they are concerned with your volunteer work, if you attend church (it’s a Christian school), and your resume and references. They dig through your life experiences too. My application for grad school was almost 40 pages. Sooo, good luck! And try to stay focused on the community service stuff. They’re pretty keen on fostering that “helping relationship.” :)</p>
