Beethoven: Most of Oberlin’s financial aid is need-based, not merit-based. High stats do not lead to large scholarships unless financial need is large.

High stats seem to have led to a large merit based scholarship for me. Admittedly this is only one case, so this may be a rare occurence.</p>
