Chances?

Think of it this way.

According to this link from the WVU website
http://www.arc.wvu.edu/admissions/urequire_main.html#Anchor-Additiona-5328

To be considered for admission as an OOS applicant (Does not guarentee admission)

Nonresidents must have at least a 2.25 grade-point average and either an ACT composite score of 20 or a combined verbal and math SAT score of 950.

Obviously, you will be considered for admission.

Now scroll down the page and look at the admissions requirements for certain programs and go to the journalism program

Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism
**Direct admission to the School of Journalism is based on ACT/SAT scores and high school GPA.

Students must have the following:
o Un-weighted High School GPA of 2.50
o ACT English Score of 22 or SAT Verbal score of 520

Obviously, if have the stats to be admitted directly into a certain program (Even if it’s not the program you want) Then you stand a pretty good chance at general u-grad admissions.
