<p>There are definitely sections of Richmond most people want to avoid, but as someone mentioned previously, if you’re concerned about safety around where UR is located, you’ve probably never left your bedroom. Students tend not to venture to parts of town where safety could be a concern, but even those sections are improving. It really is a nice town and there is a lot more to offer than I thought there was during my four years. I love calling Richmond home after graduating.</p>
