<p>I agree with all of the above - faculty parents do help A LOT, but I’m sorry to say that your stats aren’t out of this world (which I know you’re aware of). Make sure that you highlight a specific passion in your personal statements and I think that could boost your chances. But honestly you’re lacking a “hook” - which, even though the term is cliche, is a real thing that a lot of people don’t have.</p>
