'Chancing' Never Gets Old! Why Stop Now?

as a yalie, you most likely know better than me, but really? black people with 2390’s?

Maybe your passions is doing everything… :P

He aint black. (lol)

He’s living an upper middle class life. There is no evidence to support that he’s had the experiences of living in the ghetto. He will not bring the hood’ to the ivies.

Sorry for falling off the grid for so long, folks. I’ve been really busy with FeedFour, work, essays, etcetera.

wrightm: Thank you! I’ll bear that in mind, and the telling of my hours spent on community involvement was mostly to give you all an idea of depth of how long I spent on each activity. Check out prismlab (dot) org. This lists some of the research projects I’ve been involved with as a volunteer.

Rapha

fgsfds: Sorry, didn’t notice your reply yesterday… Thanks though. I wanted to learn Reflets dans l’eau and use it instead of Clair de lune, but I really didn’t have enough time. I’ve known how to play Clair de lune for just over two years now, so it’s always available to pull out of my ‘back pocket’, so to speak. ;)

URMs have an advantage, but that does not mean every URM that has a perfect GPA and SAT is going to be automatically accepted. There are recent examples. I don’t even know if the OP’s URM status is going to be considered that heavily since AA is all about cultural diversity and he is only 1/4.

On that note, you have a good shot whether or not you are URM. But it’s certainly not a guarantee.

I think you’re in. Mind chancing me back?

Applicants who are less qualified than you have been accepted so I say you have a very good chance. Apply and wait for your probable acceptance letter. :)

The only reason why you wouldn’t be accepted is because you are an international, ONLY reason, and a poor one.

I agree. It seems as though the only internationals who are accepted have accrued major awards and/or achievements. It’d be really cool to get in though. Good luck to everyone!

If you’re a real person, I’m impressed.

I feel like this is such a “I’m a Good Samaritan” topic haha.
