Changing Clothes

You’re kidding, right? Are you in high school? If so, don’t you take P.E.? Don’t you change clothes in the locker room with everyone else?</p>

<p>You simply change clothes in near your bed or any other space that is convenient. The rooms are very small, and there really is “no room” to be self-conscious. Just don’t stare at your roommate’s naked body or something like that.</p>

<p>People on CC seem to be so obsessed with and insecure about community showers, changing clothes or shaving in front of someone, etc. Don’t you have siblings? Don’t you “handle your business” when they’re around? Your dorm mates are just regular people like you, with a body just like you. </p>

<p>My first summer school roommate slept on top of his bed in the nude, which was a little surprising to me, but I got over that in about 2 days.</p>

<p>I snore like really loud, which is much more annoying (even to me)!</p>

<p>Changing clothes (or anything else) is no big deal. Get over it!

<p>No, I’m not in high school, I’m college… in fact, I’ve been in college for 4 years now. However, I’ve never shared my bedroom before. I don’t have siblings, and I’ve always had my own room, even in college. The only people I’ve ever shared a bathroom with are my parents (I have my own bathroom here at my apartment). And yeah, I changed in front of people back in high school, but that was back in the day, when I was MUCH more fit. Now, alas, with the extra poundage, I’m a lot more self-conscious. I’ll change in front of friends, no problem, but expose my fat flesh in front of total strangers, strangers that are probably younger and more fit than me? Not my idea of a good time.</p>
