@penguinblues thank you! i also found out that Erie is only an hour and a half away from my grandma in Brecksville, OH so i definitely would rather go there. i’ll call them tomorrow to ask. thanks for answering!
hi guys! i successfully changed my admission from Altoona to Erie 
it was a very easy process; just a three minute phone call to Erie then to admissions counselor.
we are in the same boat. My kid does not want to go to an office building with no college feel. It feels like They are pushing qualified UP students to branch to fill them. But it does nothing for your kids moral.
Altoona and Erie are nice campuses, and a smaller campus can be a good thing, because there will be more student support. If they later want to transfer to main campus, they might be able to.
