Some of you have discovered that you can view your housing assignment on the Student Accounts billing website. This site will indicate a hall and room number for your on-campus housing assignment. Please be aware of two very important issues regarding this assignment:</p>

<p>The room rate charged does not necessarily reflect the room type to which you are assigned. Students assigned to traditional halls are billed the standard double room rate of the assigned hall. This means everyone assigned to a temporary triple (we expect to have approximately 100 temporary triples this fall) will be billed for standard double room, although there are reduced rates for temporary triples. This way, when a student is reassigned, he or she will not be billed an additional amount. Rather, a credit will be issued based on the length of time the student has resided in a temporary tripled room.</p>

<p>Your housing assignment is subject to change. The first week of August you will receive an e-mail from Residential Life indicating your confirmed housing assignment (including what type room you have been assigned to) and your room, suite, or apartment mate(s) contact information.</p>
