Rice will recombine the sections to get the best set of scores. You are in the range to be admitted but Rice is a reach for just about everyone these days. Are you sending any SAT subject tests scores? SAT subject tests are optional, but high scores on those might bolster your application. Applying ED will also be a boost. Cheerleading is a spike that shows your dedication to an activity, and Rice needs cheerleaders. Rice also has an excellent debate team if you want to continue that activity in college.
