<p>Bio at U Chicago is like most other places. Parts are tough because it’s a popular major, pre-meds tend to hang out in the major, and the U wants to weed out those who won’t do the work.</p>
<p>For kids who are serious about Bio, the opportunities are pretty unique. Foremost is the location of the med school - right next to the main campus. In fact, most med school labs are a 5 minute walk from the popular dorms. So lab opportunities are pretty plentiful.</p>
