Chicago EA People

^i got the email and didn’t see a decision too…thought i was the only one…

Good luck guys! It says I got in but I’m not so sure lol. what if they just posted admits for all of us?
fyi I didn’t get the email =D

yeah. the whole “people who got accepted got the decision first” thing is scaring me a bit…

Got email. And like everything is crashing. UGH. No idea what is happening.

“yeah. the whole “people who got accepted got the decision first” thing is scaring me a bit…”

SAME. I guess I got rejected? This is sad. My account did not change, but I recieved an email. =[ =[ =[ =[ =[ =[ =[ =[ =[ =[

it looks like there is no email, but only decision update on the U Chicago account

guys, I’m accepted, and I STILL haven’t gotten an email. don’t worry about the email. just check your account. it’ll look different (yellow box saying decision is released below to picture)

According to Bizzy the e-mails are sent and decisions are uploaded based on time zone. That’s all. We just have to wait a bit longer.

AVAILABLE.

Today, you will receive (or have already received) an email informing you that your decisions may be viewed on your Chicago Account. If you do not receive this email, don’t worry! You can still log in to see your decision. If you have never logged in before, your user name is the email address you used on your Common Application, and you can look up your password by clicking “Forgot your password?”*

We are rolling out decisions based on time zone. If you have not received your email, please check after school. PLEASE NOTE: our server is very busy right now, so if you cannot view your decision letter, please check back in an hour or so.

When you log in, you will be given one last chance not to view your decision online, in the off chance that you were just strolling by the website and suddenly tripped and logged into your account and didn’t even want to find out your decision that way. If you indeed want to know your decision right now, you can proceed to see your letter.

Please do not call the office for your admissions decision. We do not give decisions by phone, email, or any other means of communication except for the letter in your Chicago Account or in the mail. If you are unable to retrieve your decision online and do not receive it in the mail for two weeks, let us know and we will resend it in the mail.

Katie, thanks for that but many of us don’t see anything different in our accounts. That’s why we’re worried. We’ve already established that there’s no link between the emails and the decisions. Hopefully the same is true of the decisions that are being put up. For now I know that everyone except deferees seem to be getting their decisions.

I’m in mountain time… I’d think they’d do east coast first and then go across the country. If they did that, then I would have gotten my decision later, not earlier.

So, admitted students:

What time zone are y’all in?

so far nobody seems to have found out whether they were deferred or not.

but people who got accepted seemed to have discovered their decision…

beijing time zone GMT+8

Hey everyone, congrats to those who got in! I’ve made a Facebook group so we can start to get to know each other.

[University of Chicago Class of 2014 | Facebook](Redirecting...)

Join up after you stop spasming and we can start meeting each other.

Cheerio,
I

Congrats to who got in!!!=)

It has been two hours and I still can’t view my admissions decision - does anyone know how to help me?

^nope, there are a lot of people in the same boat as you…

Now I can’t even sign in to see if the decision is up.

Likewise Jack. But on the whole, I’ve got a bad feeling about this. 2 hours since ‘decisions went up’.

Accepted!!!

just got through to my homepage. still nothing.
