Chicago or NU as a transfer?

Perhaps they would, but still that would delay the whole process. Let’s say they notify you July 1st and you have 2 weeks to send your deposit. They won’t go on with the list before the middle of July. In my case, if I were to get accepted to NU I would have a deadline to meet. If I decide to enroll and send my deposit, and then I hear from Chicago (my 1st choice) and learn that I am accepted 2 weeks later, I will have two choices:
*Go to NU, which isn’t my 1st choice, or
*Choose Chicago and have my deposit wasted.
Either way I am in a loss. Of course this is all presuming that I get in to both schools, which I doubt I will.

Like I said, I understand your decision and I’m sure there are many more out there that are doing the same thing. You also paid the application fee and have the right to do whatever. Good luck next year.

(you should watch My Name is Earl though)
