<p>The program at UChicago is inflated intellectual rubbish when it comes to training in film. If I wanted to master Jeopardy questions about film history of the silent era and about foreign film masters of the 30s and 40s, I’d sign up for Chicago’s Cinema Studies course immediately. But I’ve checked out those sites and there is nothing the school offers by way of quality training in “current” film studies such as production courses and editing, etc. I got stuck between a rock and a hard place when NU rejected me. My hope lies in transfering to NU or USC or BU.</p>
