China packing tips

I found the food delicious when I was in China. But then again, I enjoy all kinds of food (except ultra-spicy). I especially loved the vegetables, which were in abundance, and terrifically prepared. I could see someone who is finicky thinking the food isn’t what you would think of as “Chinese” food.

Have a great time, and yes, it rains a lot in China, which accounts for its greenery. I’m excited for you, kathiep and will look for your return trip journal!

hen bu hao-very cute!

Interesting about Capitol One. Will have to revisit their cards. Tofu can be so good in China, often cooked with meat.

Am so looking forward to comparing notes, kathiep! Have a wonderful, and not too rainy trip!

I’m back! Food was DELICIOUS. We had one bad meal and that was when my husband, desperate for coffee, picked up something at a McDonalds. Squat toilets were no big deal and cleaner then many western toilets I’ve visited. People were friendly, drivers were crazy. We had a wonderful time. More later.

Kathie, Welcome back! I am glad that you had a great time! I am looking forward to reading more!

Welcome home, Kathie. Give details as soon as you are recovered from the trip. Hours and hours in a plane is no joke!

kathiep, welcome home, and I too look forward to reading about your trip. I know, that for me, China was amazing, and I’ve traveled all around the planet.
