Christian Fraternities.

There are a number of Christian houses around the University of Washington, though none of them are officially fraternities/sororities. Here are a few:

University Christian Union ([University Christian Union](http://ucu.com/)) - There are two houses, one with 26 men and the other with 18 women. The houses are owned by a non-profit alumni association, has a strong community feel like a fraternity, and has a cook.

17th Ave House & Vision 16 Houses ([The 17th Ave House | Vision 16](http://vision16.net/men/17the-ave-house/)) - The 17th ave house has 52 men and is right on Greek row, with a cook, a strong fraternity feel, and a live out house for 10 more students. There are also three Vision houses with 12 women each that cook their own meals and do a lot of activities with the 17th ave house. The whole cluster of houses is owned by a board of private individuals.

UMIN houses ([University Ministries Classifieds | University Presbyterian Church Seattle](http://www.upc.org/ministries/University/Classifieds.aspx)) - There are two houses, one with 10 men and the other with 10 women. The houses are owned by University Presbyterian Church and have strong ties to college young life.

The Shoey House (http://www.universitychristianhousing.com/401.html</a>) - This is a historic mansion that houses 26 women. It is owned by several individuals.

Go ahead and check them all out. Most will offer tours to interested students. Overall, it is a great community and there are lots of overlapped events between all the houses.
